Synchro youngsters chosen for Age Group and Development squads

Twenty-one young synchronised swimmers have been selected for the Swim England Age Group and Development squads. They were chosen from previous results and recent trials held after the Swim England Synchronised Swimming National Age Group Championships in Gloucester. Karen Thorpe, Swim England synchro manager, said that the performances of the athletes attending the trials was improving every year making selection extremely tough.                       Swim England Swim England Synchro’s Age Group squad landed medals in all four events with an impressive campaign at the 2017 Primorje Cup in Croatia. The team scored 68.7331 for their free routine to finish on 130.0609 overall. January 8, 2016 Swimmers have been named on the Age Group and Development Synchro Squads 2016 following performances at the ASA National Age Group Synchronised Swimming Championships in December last year.
