Welland and Blinkhorn win Duet gold at Scottish Nationals

                  Anna Welland and Isobel Blinkhorn starred to land Duet gold at the Scottish National Age Group Championships in Glasgow. The Reading Royals pair impressed to score 64.6332 for their free routine in Scotland, claiming the 13-15 Yrs Duet crown on 127.6517.     Reading Royals landed their second duet gold of the 2014 ASA National Age Group Synchronised Swimming Championships as Hannah Mulshaw and Alex Turrell claimed top spot in the 15-17 years age group. Harriet and Rebecca strike Synchronised Swimming gold

 – GETREADING Reading Royals had a successful competition in Gloucester when they competed against clubs from the South East, South West and London regions. Harriet Roberts and Rebecca Bates won the 18-19 duet competition with a routine choreographed by Kate Coupar. The under-19 team produced an excellent routine to collect the bronze medal in the multi-regional competition and the gold medal in the regional competition.  Reading Evening Post 2004 – Sports Awards KELLY-ANNE WISE collects her trophy from Adrian Williams   The Player Loyalty Award was presented to Kelly-Anne Wise who has been a member of Reading Royals since she was eight and has achieved all the necessary synchronised swimming grades to perform at local, national and international level. Kelly became a well respected club captain, gaining numerous trophies. She was national duet champion with Katie Hooper from ages 12 to 16 and won nationals at senior levels.
