Swim England 2019 synchro training squad announced

Swim England has announced its 2019 synchronised swimming training squad. The squad includes 22 athletes, five of whom are new to the programme, and will form the 2019 senior and junior Great Britain teams. Throughout the season, the athletes will travel to world series events, the Senior European Cup and the Junior European Championships. There are 6 Reading Royals’ swimmers in the squads – Abi Taylor, Alyssa Basinger, Cerys Larsen, Daisy Gunn, Isobel Blinkhorn and Torrie Usher. Full announcement HERE


Royals at the double to deny Hampson clean sweep

          In the 15-18 years free team competition, Reading Royals claimed their second gold medallion the free team routine competition by the narrowest of margins. They beat City of Bristol to the top spot by 0.0637 after finishing with a combined total of 135.0744. The team of Harriette Smith, Isabel Turrell, Teri-Faye Coupar, Abigail Taylor, Daisy Gunn, Cerys Larsen, Isobel Blinkhorn, Alyssa Basinger and Victoria Usher scored 70.8333 for their routine to add to their figures total of 64.2411 to take top spot. English age group squad star with medal haul at Primorje Cup

                      Swim England Swim England Synchro’s Age Group squad landed medals in all four events with an impressive campaign at the 2017 Primorje Cup in Croatia. The team scored 68.7331 for their free routine to finish on 130.0609 overall.
