Reading Royals Synchronised Swimming Club celebrated their year’s achievements with a presentation evening which saw the  prestigious Swimmer of the Year award presented to popular winner Jazmine Stanzbury. England call up for Royals girls

FIVE girls from Reading Royals have been selected to represent England in Egypt in August. The girls – Rebecca Davies, Helen Morris, Jazmine Stansbury, Grainne Shaughnessy and Melanie DeVoy – were invited to take part in squad training earlier this year, which led to selection for the team. Each of the the girls has to raise £500 to attend, with the money coming from various events including a sponsored wall climb.
